The University of Windsor is a comprehensive, student-focused university with nearly 15,000 students enrolled in a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including several professional schools such as Law, Business, Engineering, Education, Nursing, Human Kinetics and Social Work.
How to Apply the University of Windsor
For high school students from Ontario:
- Apply through OUAC Apply through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website using the 101 application form. Use the pin typically provided by your school’s guidance team in early to mid-fall for your application. Your grades will automatically be forwarded to the University of Windsor from your school via OUAC.
- Complete your To-Do List in UWinsite Student Activate your UWin Account using the information provided in your application acknowledgement email. Sign in to UWinsite Student to complete your To-Do List, including uploading documents as needed and monitoring the status of your application. To activate your UWin Account:
- Go to the First-time Student/Applicant Account Activation page.
- Enter your Student Number and PIN. (Your Student Number and PIN are in your Application Acknowledgement Email from the University of Windsor.)
- Click the Submit button.
- Your UWin ID will be generated. Please write it down.
- Create your new Password.
- Proceed to the next step.
- Next Steps Once you receive your Offer of Admission letter, you’ll want to follow the steps outlined on the Next Steps page, including reviewing and accepting your Offer of Admission, setting up your multi-factor authentication (MFA) options, extending your UWin Account, planning and registering for courses, and more.
For high school students from outside of Ontario:
- Apply through OUAC Apply through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website using the 105 application form.
- Submit a Transcript or Grade Report Submit a transcript or grade report from your secondary school for the purpose of assessment through the OUAC. Evaluation and offers may be made on early or unofficial transcripts, but a final official transcript is required to confirm your admission.
- Complete your To-Do List in UWinsite Student Activate your UWin Account using the information provided in your application acknowledgement email. Sign in to UWinsite Student to complete your To-Do List, including uploading documents as needed and monitoring the status of your application. To activate your UWin Account:
- Go to the First-time Student/Applicant Account Activation page.
- Enter your Student Number and PIN. (Your Student Number and PIN are in your Application Acknowledgement Email from the University of Windsor.)
- Click the Submit button.
- Your UWin ID will be generated. Please write it down.
- Create your new Password.
- Proceed to the next step.

Application Fee 💵
OUAC 101 Application
1. Base Application Fee: $150
- For your initial 3 program choices.
- Required of all applicants.
2. Additional Choice Fee: $50/choice
- For each additional program choice beyond your first 3 (e.g., if you add 2 additional university choices, you must pay $100 in addition to the base application fee).
- Notes:
- There is no fee for replacing a program choice with another program choice at the same university.
OUAC 105 Application
1. Base Application Fee: $156
- For your initial 3 program choices.
- Required of all applicants.
2. Additional Choice Fee: $50/choice
- For each additional program choice beyond your first 3 (e.g., if you add 2 additional university choices, you must pay $100 in addition to the base application fee).
- Notes:
- There is no fee for replacing a program choice with another program choice at the same university.
Tuition 💸
For Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents, the average tuition fee is $6000.
